And how in the world did this game prove we got the seeding we deserved? If you played a lower seed such as an 11 or 12 don't you think we would have won? So if the higher seed loses then that is proof that they got the seeding they deserved. So when an 11 beats a six the six was in the correct seed?

We were an 8 seed we lost to a 9 seed. If anyone should be complaining that they got a low seed it should have been TAMU because they beat the higher seed. If we were worthy of a higher seed then shouldn't we have proven it by beating someone as low as a 9 seed?

Okay, I've got four main complaints:
1. The refs screwed us.
2. The committee screwed us with a bad seed.
3. The committee is out to screw non-BCS conferences.
4. CBS owns the mtn., CBS telecasts the tournament, and CBS conspired to get all MWC teams out of the tourament as retribution for fans complaining about the mtn.

I'm kidding, of course, but really, we just couldn't rebound or hit free throws. That's basically it. I don't remember the last time I never really noticed the refs because they called a GREAT game. Any chance of getting those guys to come to the MWC? Or at least to UNLV...

The REALITY is we lost to a lower seed, proving in the minds of the selection committee that we are not as good as a 9 seed. We lost to a 9 seed. How can you say that makes BYU better than an 8 seed?

No, BYU was not screwed, they were given a fair shot and LOST.

That is the REALITY.

And I'm not gloating. I sure wish they had one, but was not at all surprised to see them go down on a neutral court against a decent opponent.

I think BYU should have won the game, but didn't necessarily feel they were cheated out of it-they lost to unlv...a bad loss-that's why we got our seeding we did. It's nice to tie it up at half from being down 11-0. That's the real problem. losing to unlv, and being down 11-0. I'm glad kind of because we will get Trent back-there's no way the NBA will want him early, with how he likes to open big games, and not play D

The REALITY is that we played a nine seed not an 11 or 12 seed. We played a tougher team than what the five and six seed teams played. So had we played as a five or six and won then would you say we deserved that seed? The strongest teams in comparason to each other in the first round are the 8 and 9 seeds. So BYU had one of, if not the toughest, first games amongst the top 32 teams.
