Wow that loss hurts even more now. If a big IF i know, we could have got to UCLA and won. Wow sets us up for a 12/13 match up in the sweet sixteen. Why could we have not just won. JT why did you take that 35 footer why. On to Cougs football now.

Good "point out" there BYUCougs1. I didn't think about it until you mentioned it, but lets be honest with ourselves... there's no WAY we would've beaten UCLA (basically on their home court). Too quick, too talented and Kevin Love is a beast, too. We can dream all we want, but it wasn't going to happen. But there have been some nice upsets today- dang San Diego. I had UConn going to the 16. The tournament is just awesome!

San Diego is an example of a team peaking at the right time. In their last three games they've beaten St. Mary's in OT (WCC semi-finals), Gonzaga by seven in regulation (WCC Championship), and now UConn in OT. I sure hope the BYU players and coaching staff are paying attention to what happens when players step up when needed and the coaches make adjustments when needed, not just at half-time.

Hopefully the team is asking themselves that right now. Perhaps a better seed and a first round win. Most likely BYU still gets the shaft with a really good opponent and loses in the first round though. I just don't see too much heart with this team (other than Cummard and Miles, and Miles just isn't that great)
