It's interesting this story comes out now, after what, 25 years later?

I'll withhold judgement until until a verdict is reached in court. Otherwise, a man is presumed innocent until guilty.

I would still hold Karl Malone in high regard for the things he has done as a Jazz player and citizen of the state of Utah.

You forgot to add "in a court of law". But since this is not a court of law I would go on the facts as have been laid out.
Son (Demetrius Bell - a recent top draft pick for the Buffalo Bills football team) is his son.
Mother (Gloria bell) is 12 to 13 years older than her son.
Karl was 20 yrs old and a college sophomore at the time
That's all I can come up with I guess I would drop the charges at this point.

Again, I don't know all the details of the story (and, not being a lawyer), I will not pass judgement until done so in a Court of Law.

However, has a paternity test been done? Just because someone says/confesses they are the father/son, does not necessarily make it so. Does DNA confirm this? (Again, if it has been established, I haven't heard that yet).

What role was the girl playing? Without making excuses, I wonder why she was hanging out where college-aged kids hang out. Did Karl know her true age then? Has not everyone seen some 13-year-olds today that look 3-5 years older than they really are?

Again, why is this coming out 25 years later? (I'm going with the adage, "Follow the money" Something just isn't adding up here, IMO. Is there an "agenda"?

Again, I'm not trying to make excuses, but we just don't have all the facts yet. Let's wait and see what comes out in a Court of Law, rather than, like the media, come to a pre-conceived opinion.

Ah, the joys of libel. I hope that Karl Malone, or someone who knows his lawyer, doesn't frequent this board. Regardless of his what actually happened, Mars has now written an unproven and inflammatory statement about someone very much in the public eye. Hopefully you can prove this because as far as the law is concerned it is all alleged at this point.
