Question is the power forward choking in the playoffs thing a sloan problem or a Boozer/Malone problem?

Also, I'm starting to wonder if it might not be a bad idea for the Jazz to trade boozer and memo and get a real center, or maybe trade either memo and brewer or boozer again and get a real lock down defender like bowen or raja bell.

One other prediction. Miles will be gone this year and we wil see Morris Almond next year for sure.

I don't ever think Sloan will be the coach to take the jazz to the title! I'm not sure we should trade memo. He is clutch. I would say boozer because he plays defense a lot less of the time then Memo does. Memo actually tries to play defense. We had Bell and he left. Bowen is dirty and old. Brewer has improved a ton.

And I do agree with you about Miles. Even though I like Miles. And last the refs tonight were terrible. That "foul" at the end of the half against Williams was ridiculous! The two blocking fouls against Williams and Milsap were ridiculous! The jazz still should have won and had their chances! But David stern the other day on Jim Rome is burning. Stern said that the Nba doesn't have preferential treatment for stars! BULL CRAP!!!!! Look at Kobe! I'm not sure there was a game in this series where Kobe shot under ten free throws! The Jazz will be very good next year. But they have to get another big! I really Hope Fez will be that guy?! Ps I'm so glad that sloan has stopped playing collins. He's terrible!

Refs didn't play into this game. I didn't agree with the Fisher 3 foul at the end of the half, the blocking foul on Milsap, or the blocking foul on Williams, And I don't know if Harpring should have got a foul on the pure crap that Kobe was throwing up in the 4th (that one looked really phantom). At the same time, I'm sure Lakers didn't agree with other calls. That's the way Basketball goes. I feel like the Jazz beat themselves in this one. Don't come out flat, lazy, and expecting to win in an elimination game. That was pathetic play in the first half. I'm always going to wonder how much Memo's sore Achilles was affecting his defense in the second half against Gasol. Memo looked especially slow in that game. But I guess he never looks like lightning.

I've got to agree that getting rid of Boozer would be a good idea. I think Milsap is tougher inside as a defender and has a huge upside. I think he could become the Jazz's David West. I can't stand that Boozer never adjusted to the play of Gasol and Odom on both ends of the floor. Learn a new move that includes getting your defender in the air.

I'm way excited about the addition of Almond and Fesenko. AK and Fesenko should be fun to watch. One thing is certain now- Williams is the key to the team. Without him the Jazz are done. And if he doesn't get another solid go to player to take off some of the pressure, 2008 playoffs are going to be the norm for years to come. I'm afraid that boozer isn't the guy the Jazz need at the moment.

Maybe next year. Now that we've got that out of the way, Football can't come fast enough!!!!! GO COUGARS!!!

Boozer seems to really like it here (or he pretends well) which makes me wonder what kind of a pay check he'd be willing to take to stay. If Utah can keep him for a bargain, then they should keep him, but if it's him or Williams they definitely need to keep williams.

I disagree about Boozer- Carlos is actually a great player; please trade him to the Kings!

I do agree that Jerry Sloan will never win a title though.

P.S. Nice comeback in the 2nd half.

I've like the kings ever since the turn of the century! When they had Webber bibby, stojakovic, Turkolgu, Divac, Pollard, and Christie. The kings could probably use boozer who would the jazz get in return? The only one I could see the kings giving up would be is Ron Artest? But I don't think there would be anyway He would wanna come to Utah! I still like the kings. But there not as fun to watch without Adelman as the head coach. They made some of the nicest passes I have ever seen! PS I wish the Kings would have stayed with their black uni's. They looked so much better then their purple/blue ones!

I do think Boozer is a great player. But he needs to play defense too and stopped getting worked!

Artest is actually the type of player I think utah could use.
