Detroit had the rights to that pick, Seattle makes more sense than a veteran laden team like Detroit that has Rasheed Wallace backed up by Jason Maxiell. (unless Detroit thinks that Trent can play the 5.....)
Actully this smells like a "Straight to the Dleague" pick
Hope that a very athletic big man can develop some NBA skills while using a relatively worthless pick.
Seattle did the same with Sasha Kaun (Russian born player with a 2 million$ deal waiting for him from CSK Russia) Should Kaun improve dramatically, Seattle would have his rights in the future.
