why is this on cougarblue?

I am bummed he dropped out, although it was time for him to do so and I look forward to him running in 2012. If he can stay conservative the next years and give speeches like he gave to CPAC the day he dropped out, he will be the guy hands down.

We asked long ago whether this should be all sports or should there be an "Other" forum for non-sports threads. They never opened up the other forum, but it's understood that non-sports related topics are okay in the "Sports-Other" forum. Just don't start talking about Britney Spears and her troubles or the negative karma will build up fast.

Besides, this year is an election year and there was a prominent Mormon running, so it was only natural that we'd want to talk about it.

1) The guy graduated from BYU
2) It is an election year
3) There is no football to talk about (maybe this should have been 1)
