That is pretty well written and with the photo of Snoop reading The BOM, I was almost convinced. It took me awhile to find the small, gray fine print and the very bottom of the page that said I had been April Fooled. Interesting that it said Snoop is not Mormon..........YET!

Yeah, he and Alice Cooper are in my cousin's ward.

I'm tired of getting smoked by the Jehovah's Wittinesses and the Scientologists when it comes to celebrity converts. The Jehovah's Wittinesses have Venus and Serena Williams, Jill Scott, Ja Rule, the Jackson Family (lapsed), Selena, some of the Wayans Brothers, Naomi Campbell, one of the Spice Girls, and Prince.

The Scientologists have just about every B-list celebrity in Hollywood.

And who do we have? Wilford Brimley? Don Bluth? Half the crew of Napoleon Dynamite. The Jets? Thurl Bailey? The Osmond Family. That guy from the Killers? Gladys Knight. Rulon Gardner? Jimmy "the super fly" Snuka. Dale Murphy. Steve Young.

We're seriously being taken behind the shed when it comes to celebrity converts. Snoop Dogg would have been huge for the church.

Anyways, I don't want to turn this into a "who's Mormon/who's not" thread, but I just had to point out how far we have to go on the celebrity front.

Actually, Alice Cooper's grandfather was an apostle for one of the off-shoot churches that formed after Joseph Smith's death. That's why you will hear the rumor he is LDS. His dad served a mission for that church to.
