Will throw in my 2 cents too. This has been fun. I am a proj. mgr. in construction. My wife and I both graduated from BYU in mid-70's. 5 kids and 2 have graduated from BYU and our last is there now. Played VB at BYU for 2 years (when if you could walk and chew gum you were on the team). Carl McGowan's first year as coach was my last year. Graduated in Bus Mgt/Accounting. Worked for Arthur Young (acctg) until I went into construction. We are all from SoCal and learned to read on LA Dodger articles. Had Dodger tickets for 20 yrs. There is still nothing that beats a GRILLED Dodger dog. Was there when Kirk Gibson hit his walk-off HR in World Series. Moved here in late 90's. Used to sleep outside for tickets in the card stunt section (way back when) as well as in the West Annex of the fieldhouse for BB tickets. Served mission In Ecuador early 70's. Thanx for the background on all. Amazing..the diversity in background with the common thread that BYU rocks!!!

Go Cougars!!!

I just read my post. I feel as stupid at a Ute grad. I didn't answer the topic of the post - not that anyone really cares.

I'm a general manager in a small A/V company located in Southwest Utah.

Okay, lame as it may sound, and knowing that any one of us could lie as much as we want with little to no detection, but assuming we are, for the most part, BYU fans with some values and desire to be honest... (nice opening line huh?) Without disclosing more information than you want/can what are you occupations? I peruse a couple other boards and many of them sound like college students with drinking problems (no they are not just Ute boards). I'm just curious about the type of people with whom I spend probably too much virtual reality time.

As for me, I am a seminary teacher. I have been for almost 11 years not counting student teaching. I also do carpentry on the side, mainly framing and finishing.

Go Cougs!!!

I'm a CPA working in public accounting; been doing if for about 8 years.

Okay - I'm going to expound for fear of living up to the stereotypical boring CPA.

I live and work in Roseville CA, just northeast of Sacramento. Beautiful place and a great place to raise a family. Ironically, I never attended BYU but have always been a big BYU football fan. Each year, me and about 20 other family and friends pick one BYU road game to attend. It is always a blast and we definatley "represent". Last year we went to UCLA and this year will be going to the Washington game and we anticipate a road trip to the BYU BCS game this year. Was born and raised in the Mormon colonies in Mexico. Met my wife while attending UVSC in 1996.

Go Cougs!

I am a wholesale jewelry manufacturer and a diamond grader. I have a sister who went to BYU back in the late 70's early 80's and from that time forward I have been a fan. My wife went to the Y also.

I attended BYU from 1997-2000 after a mission in South Africa. I was on a baseball scholorship and played 2 of those 3 years along with one year before my mission at CEU. My brothers and I have been BYU fans our whole life probably because our DAD was a huge fan. My brother frequents this site often as GMONEY don't know about the name. I recieved my degree in ENGLISH and I have a master's in Secondary Education, but have worked for the past 6 years as the Recreation Coordinator for Kaysville City, Utah.

I am the college student who has a drinking problem......but if seminary teachers would get the hell off of cougarblue.com and do their job, maybe I would have been saved.
