I am biased and think Archuleta should win...The kid is Mormon and from Utah and has a pretty incredible voice so I give him the nod. I think all of the remaining idols have talent and will get record deals i'm sure, but it all comes down to their followings now.

This is the what place they will take:

5th- Syesha
4th- Brooke
3rd- Castro
2nd- Cook
1st- Archuleta

This isn't the order I agree with, but i'm kinda following the trends... Syesha has been in the bottom 2 or 3 more than any of the remaining 5 so shes gone this week regardless. I hate Jason Castro's voice and style but it apparently appeals to many thats why hes a finalist on american idol and im not...and he has a following which I think will carry him past Brooke...But hes not good enough to beat cook and archuleta so I see them as the final two. With Archuleta emerging victorious even though hes only 17 (Last years winner Jordin Sparks was 17 or 18 i think, so hes not too young).

Another scenario is a repeat of Season 5. We could have the best idol, get sent home in 4th place and then 2nd and 3rd place are both good...and the winner sucks (see Taylor Hicks) Sorry Taylor Hicks fans...he didn't deserve it.. Hicks cd sold a few copies, Daughtry's cd sold millions...I think the proof is in the pudding on the real winner of that contest...

In my opinion, Archuleta should win...but we will have to watch and see...

The Cook kid sounds kind of cool, but he mostly just annoys me. True rockers belong in a band, not on american idol. He'll end up as the frontman for some annoying band that sounds just like nickelback just like that other idol guy.

Brook probably has the most annoying personality of anyone on the show, but she is a pretty good singer.

What's really sad about that show is that it took until last week for that awful country singer to go out.

The group this year has actually been surprisingly talented for the most part, but whoever is choosing the nightly themes is starting to annoy me. They're doing neal diamond next week, yuck (Hans Olsen will be happy, but I'll just be annoyed).

This was weird to read because it was like reading my own thoughts.

I never watched the show but my wife loves it and there's only one tv in our apartment (well, old apartment) and before I know girls are coming over for Idol.

I completely agree with the annoying themes. (except I kinda like Neal Diamond.)

I have only watched since there were 10 players. I do not know the answer to this so help me out here: Do they do "themes" the rest of the way from here? How long have they done them? Wouldn't it be more fair to let the singers choose what fits them best?

I will dock my own karma for being the idol police, but the Archelleta kid is 17 and will be 18 in like 6 months. He sings the same lame songs over and over again and doesn't have any variety. David Cook should win. He is the most talented and most versitle in terms of style.

Castro will be a big hit though with the sit in my dorm room and lite up all day college kids

Yeah, most original at ripping off chris cornell, I'm sorry, I just don't like that kid, I think he's a poser.

Which is why I don't like the show I just occasionally glance up from my laptop while my wife is watching it

Oh give Cook a break. Just because he didn't fallow the typical Cornell/Cobain/ Alice in Chains/ what ever road, doesn't mean the guy isn't a rocker. What is he supposed to do on Idol? go aroudn head banging while tearing up his guitar? He did the show to get noticed. He's been noticed. He'll make a CD that is him, not what Idol wants him to be (which is what we've seen in his minute and thirty seconds each week
