Hello, my Name is MrRoboto and I've been a cougarblue addict for about three years.

I love BYU sports but my other interests are music and art(and other stuff too). I wanted my name and avatar to express my other intersets as its pretty safe to assume I like BYU sports if I'm on this site at all.

I chose the name MrRoboto cuz it's a good song (although I'm not really a Styx fan) and because of the lyrics:

I am the modren man, who hides behind a mask
So no one else can see my true identity

The problem's plain to see: too much technology
Machines to save our lives. Machines dehumanize.

The time has come at last
To throw away this mask
So everyone can see
My true identity...

I'm Kilroy! Kilroy! Kilroy!! Kilroy!

I guess what I'm trying to say is that my real name is Kilroy.

As far as the avatar goes I used to use a Bo Bartlett painting (he's a great artist) but I found this image at flickr and just thought it was cool.

My name is simply the initials of my wife and I. The 97 is the year we got married. The avatar shows Soto's knee touching the ground prior to the called fumble at the Rose Bowl last year. I have decided to leave the Avatar until after the UCLA game.

Did anyone else enjoy the Rose Bowl. I knew that the parking was on a golf course so my brother and I took our clubs. It was fun to chip and putt while waiting the 2 hours to exit parking.

Screen Name: The 'mascots' of my two alma maters: BYU and Harvard. (I think it's laughable that Harvard's mascot is a color.)

Avatar: Blue goggles, of course!

My screen name references the rank I have currently in the military and my being a life-long fan of BYU. I have been in the same (military) Brigade as Kitic (good luck, buddy), and have been in the guard, reserves, and active duty for over 20 years now.

My avatar is a copy of a painting that I have at home by Clark Kelley Price, titled, "It's True Sir - All Present And Accounted For". The Helaman and the Stripling Warriors story has special meaning to me, including Bronco's first media interview where he likened the team (both coaches and players) to the stripling warriors.

Added to that, the phrase, "All Present and Accounted For", is used when subordinate units would report to their commanding officers in formations in the military. Our unit went to Iraq in 2003, and we all returned safe and sound - thus, all present and accounted for.

If you get the chance, read the linked story and re-read the Book of Mormon passages that illustrate this example of faith, courage, and honor.

It's only appropriate that I follow MajorCougar I suppose.

CAFB = Columbus Air Force Base, Mississippi where I attended Air Force Undergraduate Pilot Training.

04-12 = 12th class to graduate in fiscal year 2004 (July).

The avatar is a set of Air Force pilot wings.
