The DI tourney started this past weekend. All games are televised on ESPNU until the Final 4, then games switch over to ESPN2/ESPN.

If you want to follow BYU, check out www.mcla.us. Once the tournament gets to the semis, you can buy a webcast of the semis and finals. The Y should get through the first two rounds without much trouble. Michigan in the semis will be a great game. On the other side of the bracket, either Chapman, Arizona State or Minn-Duluth should get through.

BYU beat Boston College in a close match 8-7. Next they play Simon Fraser tomorrow. BYU gave Simon Fraser their only loss (17-11) in BYU's fourth game of the season back on Feb 23rd.

BYU slipped past Simon Fraser 10-9 today to reach the semi-finals. After trailing most of the game, BYU ran of four straight scores to take a 10-8 lead and then held on for the win. BYU's teamwork came through for this game as then tallied seven assists on ten goals.

BYU will play Michigan in one semi-final.
ASU will play Chapman in the other semi-final.

Michigan beat us 12-9 at their place on 3/1/2008 for our worst loss of the season.

We beat ASU 17-15 at home on 3/11/2008.

We lost to Chapman 16-15 at their place on 2/16/2008 (2nd game of the year).

BYU lost this evening to Michigan in the MCLA National Championship Semi-Final match 11-7.

It was a tough match for BYU. Michigan played a much more physical game than BYU (10 penalties vs 2 for BYU). Despite Michigan having 7.5 minutes of penalty time and BYU only 1 minute, BYU was not able to capitalize on the advantage.

Overall it was a very good season. The team represented BYU in a fine manner.

The other semi-final Chapman over ASU 18-15. It was an interesting game where ASU took a 6-0 lead in the first quarter. Chapman came back strong with a 14-3 run over the next 2.5 quarters. Great game. The tournament seeding had Michigan #1 and Chapman #2. Looks like the seeding was pretty good.
