Last night during the incredibly dull game between my 2 least favorite teams in all of pro sports, (the Spurs and the Lakers) A beer commercial came on. My wife and I were watching together as two dudes on the commercial were listening to the city pavement to track the location of the closest Miller Lite beer. Maybe some of you saw it too. Anyways, they show a close up on one of the guys and my wife and I simultaniously turn to eachother and say its Kirby! Meaning Kirby Haywood sp? from all the Mormon movies! I believe he is a BYU grad, and was on Singles War, Saints and Soldier, the Best Two Years and every other Mormon movie ever made! we actually stayed up until 12:30 to see the commercial again to confirm it was him. It was. I was actually suprised to see how upset my wife was about it! Any way I am not trying to judge or anything and to each his own, I was just wondering if any one else noticed and what thier opinion was.

Is he the one in the back holding the "Drinking is the Devil" sign?

His last name is Heybourne, and I would be surprised and disappointed if it was him. He was in my ward when he was growing up, and he was one great, talented kid. His family has had problems, especially since his mother died, but he seemed solid.

If it is him its just a job, its no big deal. He still has bills to pay too.

My guess is that it was him. It wouldn't be the first commercial he has done that goes in conflict with some church teachings. He did Powerball commercials in Idaho.
