Just in case people are curious. DT is finally completely demolished and now dirt lies there. Today at work water lines have been laid down and grass will be where the towers used to be. It'll be pretty and in 2-5 years a new building will be there.

As far as the Morris center. Half is going to be used for camps where they can eat (which is seasonal) and the other half of the morris center has become offices for the continuing Edu. dept. i'd rather it be bulldozed too, but they kept it.

As far as the creamery (original BYU creamery) they have knocked down 3 of the 4 walls, expanded the building (currently) and are making it bigger to house the development processing of food and dairy. THe pool is covered with dirt too. The Magnum Knight building was torn down in 3 days, the long building that you face as you drive north on 7th east and have to turn right or left in front of it. THat will also be covered in grass. In case you're interested

Helaman: The cannon center has now closed, and asbestos is being cleaned out. The new cannon center commons building has been completed and looks great inside

also, the soccer stands do not yet say BYU like the football stadium, but the Y logo is found in the bars that you use to assist in walking, pretty original and sweet. But that won't quite get me into soccer games.

That was the main LTM building when I was there in 1970. Just tell me please they aren't tearing down Amanda Knight (800 & University), a very cool looking building where the German missionaries were housed.

Wow! The Knight Mangum building being torn down. Like you, Florwood, it was the LTM for me in 1967. Most people don't even know there was such a thing as an LTM. Nothing was funner than upsetting those dear old ladies who served our food by striking a line through whatever meat was on the menu and writing "breaded surprise." It's been 40 years and I still don't know why that upset them.
