Just wanted to wish you all a happy Fourth of July! Especially those who have or are currently serving in the military...from my family to yours, thank you.

Just curious what evryone has planned for the Fourth? As for my family and I it started off with a barbecue/bonfire yesterday evening with some friends. The kids had a blast running around and playing while the ladies sat around and jibber-jabbered. The guys of course rang in the Fourth of July with a great few hours of paintball. You can't beat Alaskan summers especially with the sunlight all night long. Now winters...well that's a different story and is why we have Cougar football to get us through it.

Today is just a lazy day for my family and I...I think we'll do another barbecue with just us but besides that...it'll just be nice to relax. Then tomorrow my wife, two little girls, and I are going to my parents house to meet up with a lot of my family for a big family barbecue and waterfight (water balloons and water guns galore...I prefer the 5-gallon bucket method myself). Lots of barbecues this weekend. And they say Christmas is the time people gain weight from eating.

So what about you guys, what's your plans? Oh yea and we can't forget that there's less then a month before Cougar football begins...you gotta love that.
