One reason I think that there has to be more to the story is that all those who attended BYU knew at least one or two people that NEVER went to church but somehow stayed at BYU, I personally knew about 3-4 and one was a FB player. My point is that although we know that BYU tries to be equal with students you have got to kow that because he was an athlete that they would give him even more lee way. Some of you say that the Bishop is just trying to make an example but it would seem like the SP would step in and say "Hey he just missed a few weeks of church, lets give him some more chances." Like everyone says, there has got to be more to the story because no way they let a star athlete go if he missed a few days of church, when there were plenty of bums at school that go months without attending church and still get that EE. I just can't see foul play here with both the SP and the bishop in cahouts together to get this kid kicked out.
