Most of the D2 and NAIA schools do only offer partial scholarships but most of the D1 schools do. Where I live in the Pacific NW there aren't a lot of D1 schools that carry mens soccer, and I believe that is generally true for the West Coast and intermountain area, California being the big exception. According to a recruiter from Oregon State for instance, my son is likely going to be offered a full D1 but will probably try to play at BYU. If it turns out to be a full ride offer it will be a tough decision for him. BTW, the trips to Europe and South America are cool but the players have to pay for the airfare.
