Was anyone else impressed after reading this article with the way that Bronco is taking responsibility for what happened?

"I am responsible for these young men. I'm responsible basically for their motivation, I'm responsible for their teaching and I'm responsible for their agency. I view the actions of these young men as a program failure, which is reflective on me. I need to arm them with the knowledge base, the motivation and the education to be consistent regardless of circumstance."

I love the way Bronco is handling this. It's great to see a coach try to use something like this as a way to strengthen the team rather than either blindly defending the players or throwing the players under the proverbial bus.

I'm 100% happy with the way Bronco has handled these events so far, and I'm 100% confident that he'll address the situation fairly and adequately going forward.

I sure was! A lot of coaches would say stuff like this just for the media - but you get the sense that Bronco really means whatever he says.

Same here. I know of one coach who wouldn't even say this stuff for the media, let alone his team.
Once again, I am so glad that Crowton is gone, BYU didn't get who they wanted for his replacement, and that Bronco came to town. I thought the program had really gone to pot when all they could get was the team's own no-name DC (alright, he'd done some good things at New Mexico--but c'mon: New Mexico?? Can't even win their own bowl game). I'm so happy to eat crow for all the doubts I had about Bronco! I have HUGE respect for him.

Bronco could blame gas prices on himself and everyone would still be happy.. Smart move BYU..
