Has anyone else had a problem previewing their posts? I used to do it all the time, but since switching to this new format, the site seems to automatically submit the post when I preview it. Not knowing this, I then end up submitting the same post twice. It doesn't happen all the time, so I wonder if it's just me hitting the wrong keys.

Also, there doesn't seem to be a way to delete the duplicate post. There used to be a delete key we could use within a short period of time to do so, but it seems to have disappeared. Does anyone know where it might have gone? (So I can delete duplicate and/or foolish posts.)

And a third thing: the SEARCH feature doesn't seem to be as fine-tuned here as it was in the other format. Before the change, we could search for an old post, using both the author's name and and a key phrase as search items. Here, we get 10 or 15 characters to submit on a single line and no more. Any way to add these other features?

And finally: We used to be able to go into people's profiles and find ALL the posts they had ever submitted. It was a feature I used occasionally when quoting someone. Again, I can't find this feature now. Any hope of restoring it?

Other than these few omissions, which may actually be my inability to
find them, things seem to be working great.

I really like this new cougarblue.com site. I bet with these new changes you'll get a lot more posts, more discussion, and perhaps a lot more members.

I felt dumb because I changed email accounts and then forgot my log-in name (haven't posted since football season ended), so I'm starting over.

At this point, my only real complaint is the emoticons are really girly.

Yes, you can change it in your profile as often as you want.

The preview for me loads as a pop-up box and does not automatically submit the post for me. Maybe you are blocking it with a pop-up blocker. Google toolbar perhaps?

Unfortunately, I can't answer this one for you. As a moderator there is always a button for me to use to delete. You will need another user to let you know if it is a problem for them too. (Although, I believe there is a box to CHECK when you are in EDIT and you can submit with that check box as DELETE POST. That used to be an option not sure now if it for regular user permissions.)

I have seen though that there are multiple cases where users have posted twice when trying to post once, and I have to delete the second for them.

I agree, the search is much less advanced. I haven't really tried it yet, but I concur. I wish there was different or more advanced form used for searching the forums and not just the WHOLE site.
i.e. Username included in the search parameters.

Hmmm, you can at least see their last 10 forums posts links in their profile..but you are right. It doesn't have their full history and I liked that feature too. I hope Jared Lloyd comes BACK to this forum sometime and sees the replies and responds to them. Because, I am with you Cruiser...I would like to see something like this change too.
