My question is how anyone could wear that uniform and keep a straight face. I guess we just don't have the capacity to understand the superior football minds of the Oregon Ducks from the mighty Pac-10.

Anyway, the US looks good. Too bad they gave up a goal to Panama. They have really improved their on the ball skills and ability to play out of trouble. I also like to see the defenders making runs and scoring goals. I nice change from the boring Bruce Arena style of play.

Boy, what a moron I am. I just assumed that the ducks were actually stupid enough to have a uniform that ridiculous. Although I'm sure they are all wearing the wonderful photoshopped addition as their lucky briefs. All Nike has to do is tell them it is part of the uniform. Who is going to argue with the mighty Oregon alumnus Phil Knight. Maybe Nike should tell them the new colors will be fuchsia pink. The color would certainly match the quality of their play against BYU.

The Gold Cup Final will be on Sunday. Mexico vs US, a classic. The rivalry is heated, so the game will be pretty intense.

I hate to say it, but you guys (US) have beaten us consistenly in the past few years... so I hope we do better this time.

Analyzing the game, the US is more athletic and fast than Mexico, so if they do what they usually do (i.e. defend with almost everyone and score on a quick counter-attack) probably they'll win again. It may not be pretty bit its really effective. For Mexico to win, we need to keep possesion of the ball, and short passes wil do the trick. I predict a 2-1 victory for Mexico.
