At this point, as fall camp is getting set, all things are possible. I am going down as BYU is going undefeated this year. If not, okay I will be disappointed with the loses, but I will be disapppointed with the loss if I say they are going 10-2 or 6-6. I will be disappointed with a loss no matter my prediction. With that, I predict we go UNDEFEATED IN 2007!!

Anyway, yeah, cocky quarterbacks are bad and crack under pressure. I'm just glad the Jim McMahon was the most humble quarterback to put on a BYU jersey and that there wasn't any pressure, say, one December night in San Diego. Otherwise he wouldn't have led the biggest bowl comeback in history.

You see, Captain Logic, if you want to prove a point by example, you'd better make sure there isn't a single counterexample. Otherwise your sweeping generalizations fall apart like Utah's secondary after 10 seconds.

Harline's STILL open!

A witty rebuttal... I like that. Too bad you don't know what you're talking about. Gee... I didn't realize McMahon was a freshman when they won the 1980 Holiday Bowl? My bad!

No but he was a Junior. Which means he has as many years under his belt as a redshirt sophomore. If Mcmahon had a red shirt year that means Hall is one year behind. There are plenty of Freshman/Sophomores/Redshirt sophomores who have had success in college football.

How can we set up a pool on when and who takes Airwolf's Karma to -300, 500, or even -1000? It gets almost to the point where I do it just on principle.
And Airwolf, you might be too young, naive, and/or biased to remember, but Marc Wilson, Jim McMahon, and Robbie Bosco all were called on to start with little or no D1 experience. They seem to have done allright.

Hey.. i am just saying.. since I read people their rights all the time... I know that remaining silent is one of them.. but if you want to exercise your right to free speech... and make an arse of yourself... by all means.. go ahead

If in your mind (and I use that term lightly), having an opinion is making an "arse" of yourself, you might enjoy reading all about this...

I'm not sure how old wolfy is, but since he's JEFE's dad he has to be old enough to remember the Miracle Bowl. However, he has shown a very selective memory in the past -- If history doesn't support his views....it never happened.
