OK... I'll tell you what... if BYU goes out and proves me wrong against Arizona and UCLA, I'll offer a humble and sincere apology and then cease and desist with any negative posts for the rest of the season. I know most of you will find this hard to believe, but I will honor my word. Unfortunately, I really doubt I'll be in a position to have to offer one though.

Gentlemen (and the occasional gentle lady), this news of potential relief from Airwolf's inanity is worthy of our attention. It may even be worthy of our prayers. Personally, I believe he will be good to his word; if we beat both Arizona and UCLA, I fully expect him to pen yet another apology (you can find the first one in the thread "CFN rates the QBs"), and from that time forth I expect him to write nothing but positive predictions and analysis about the boys in blue. It's almost too good to be true.
So it is written, so let it be done.
I meant what I said... if BYU moves the football effectively against Arizona and UCLA and manages to make close games out of both contests or wins either one, I will honor my word and eat crow and then for dessert, a big piece of humble pie. But like I said... don't count on it... BYU's offense won't be good enough to beat the Cats or Bruins... two teams with defenses ranked in the top 15. It's going to go from bad to worse from week 1 to 2 because UCLA has a better offense and defense than Arizona... the margin of victory will be bigger for the Bruins.
Will you Post it on youtube ???? I want to see you eat it
I could do a Fear Factor version, where I eat a rotten bird and then throw up?

Airwolf,
So you think BYU will not only lose both games, but lose both by a large margin? Because you said if they keep the games close, you'd still stay positive the rest of the year (I think that's what you wrote). I can see UCLA getting out of hand, though I think it will be close. But I think win or lose, the Arizona game isn't going to be a blowout. Tell me your thoughts, old friend.

The guy who tore his ACL wasn't the starting RB although he was a highly recruited out of HS last year. Markey, the starting RB is fine. Raymond Carter, the RB who tore his ACL would have seen time, but wasn't going to start.
