You set the standard and then they know what is expected. For some kids this is the first time someone draws a line in the sand and then actually come thru with the penelty. These kids see what is happening and a few more wins and they will be begging to be accepted back. Go Cougs
I'm not so sure most of them aren't already begging. Like all the suspensions that Coach Mendenhall gives out, there are terms to their return to the team. I am sure some will finish sooner than others (based on what each individual did) but all will do it that stick around at BYU.
Making a "mountain out of a mole hill" about an issue no-one seems to understand and or is willing to comment about, then putting sooo much time, effort, and energy behind it for me is a waste of time...

All our speculating and worrying over "Rumors and Gossip" is a waste of energy that can be focused on much more productive events. IMHO

You wouldn't have happened to live in Budge Hall in '99, would you?? I just remember torching a pumpkin or two with 1/4 sticks in the parking lot, setting off all car alarms, and then spending the remainder of the evening eluding the fun police whilst our ears were ringing. There were further pumpkin incidents that winter with Merrill Hall---there were a lot of pumpkins that semester and I was just curious if by off chance it was the same experience.
No, I was at Ricks in '99 doing the same stuff there. And then we ran out of m-60s and -80s and had to use dry ice bombs. Still kinda cool but not quite the same. College was awesome
I came on the board looking for more info. I am actually rather pleased that there isn't any. It means there aren't moles or leaks in the BYU program. Awesome.
