er you spell it . .

I don't think he's really going to have a big impact. I think BYU's D-line and linebackers will be able to stuff him. Sure he's 240 . . but he probably needs some momentum to break tackles, which means he's going to have to get past the line of scrimmage, I just don't see it happening.

Am I wrong, should I be worried? I haven't really seen him play to be honest.

I am actually not that nervous about him. He isn't like the dude from NM. Frank the tank doesn't have the vision that kid did. Frank is just a big kid that can plow through people. Against the pukes that is all he did. Granted, the pukes looked pitiful and were trying to arm tackle him for the most part. I think with BYU comin off the bye and having time to prepare for him that our Def. will really contain him. I am more nervous about their passing game. UNLV's qb looked good against Wisconsin and i am still a little gun shy after the Tulsa debacle.

I am a little nervous...........that he'll eat everything in the buffet line. That's about it. I think that the front seven will handle him.

Not worried at all. BYU stopped Rodney Ferguson last week, and that was a better New Mexico offense. We also had the two top receivers in the conference and a mobile quarterback to deal with last week. So, if we can defend all of that and still stop Ferguson, I don't think Frank Summers poses too much of a problem.

UNLV has one of the worst passing offenses in the conference. It's not just because they run the ball either. Dixon's pass efficiency rating of 110.8 is 7th in the conference. I doubt Summers even sniffs 100 yards.

Yeah, I am with you guys. Zero nervous. Five years ago when we couldn't tackle at all I would have been scared to death but now we do a pretty good job. Once Bronco came around I have noticed that there always seem to be 8 people taking down the ball carrier.

Our front 7 is very solid against the run and I think they will turn "Frank the Tank" into "Frank the Pinto" this week.

Agreed, they don't have the pass game to make BYU back off. We can let Staffieri/Poppinga/Kehl/Nixon roam free and really knock him back. He won't see 100 yards (No running back has against BYU this season, it won't start here.)

UNLV is going to get into trouble quickly if they let BYU score early. BYU does a great job creating separation early in the game and making teams abandon their game plan. If BYU can score 2-3 times in the first half, look for UNLV to try to pass the ball and give up some turnovers in the air.
