I guess I will start the thread for this game. I am really glad that app st beat Michigan because I think that it will help a lot of teams, including BYU, to not over look other teams they will play from the lower division. The team will not be overlooking these guys.

No seriously though, I don't think we will have any problem at all with this one. I think this will help us a lot actually because it will keep us from getting rusty and will carry us through to the following week in San Diego.

I am looking for our D to have their first shutout and for the offense to easily play into the 40's. The only reason they may get a score is because our 3's will be in and they will get a late one. I still doubt it though.

I'm looking forward to seeing Gaskins in the second half. I would also like to see Fui get some second half runs to help with his confidence. This should give the second team defense the chance to get some reps looking towards next season. I don't think a lose is going to happen but a major injury could. So as soon as they have the lead pull the starters and start giving the backups the chance to play. I hope from the second half kickoff the 2 deeps will be playing.

I agree. Once we have a good solid lead, we need to bring out as many of our 1's as possible. I would hate to see a starter go down to these guys. Hopefully we can put this away enough in the first half to do so. If not then by the 4th qtr.

Unless they really need harvey in this game, Fui should get most of the carries. Unga is the more valuable back at this point and they should rest him if the can.

They are 4-2. Both losses could have been wins.

My prediction is that BYU wins this one, but fans aren't happy with the spread (considering who they're playing). They have a good quarterback and they'll probably put up 2 or 3 scores on our secondary. There's just no way they're going to slow BYU's offense down enough for those scores to matter much.
