I'm a die-hard Dodger fan. Grew up in the Lopes, Russel etc era. I'd be cool with A-Rod, but for the same price I think you could get Cabrera AND another starting pitcher, which we need too....

Yeah, but I'm hearing they might trade Broxton and Billingsley to get Cabrerra. I don't like that. I don't mind the Dodgers spending the cash for ARod.
How does Joe Torre saying that A-Rod going to the Dodgers is possible make a news story. I'm sure every coach in the league would say the same thing but why doesn't that make headlines? BTW, A-Rod going to the Mexico City Toros is also possible... I just hate how some things are perceived as news when they aren't... Anyway, I like A-Rod, am an Angels fan, but would prefer they get Cabrera and sign him to an extension with big weight incentives
