Sorry, but I don't think I've ever been disparaging to Wolf. I'm taking back the thread to see how he/she responds to someone who has never criticized his/her criticisms.

Honestly, look at the game stats and then look at the final score, THEN tell me that BYU was NOT the better team in that game.

I do think Sacklesscoda, AFA's Hall and UNLV's Bell will be POTY's; Unga as Rookie/new comer of the year will be the easiest decision for the conference.

I'm not trying to make it seem like I'm angry, because that really isn't the case. I'm actually enjoying this back and forth. MJK5 makes a great point that you'll just never know. Suppose Utah brought the whole blitz package and BYU had picked it up and still made a big play? Then, you'd be complaining about how they should have played prevent defense on that particular play. You'll never know. That's all I need to say. BYU won...BYU's the better team!

You're right, no one knows exactly what would have happened, but if Utah pressures or blitzes Max Hall on 4th and 18, what do you think the odds are that he completes an 18+ yard pass for a 1st down? Stupid coaching by Kyle on two plays has cost Utah 2 wins over BYU.

Maybe you didn't notice, but Hall was pressured on that play and didn't take very long to get the pass off despite 8 men in coverage. Utah's problem was not that Hall had all day to pass, it was that the Ute defender left his man because he thought Hall would run the ball. I don't think your argument really makes sense here. What you should be complaining about is that the Ute defender didn't stay on Collie like he should.
