if BYU played in the big 10 this year i think they would be able to beat the lower level teams, and probably go 3-2 with Michigan, Ohio St, Wisonsin, Illinois and Penn St., maybe 2-3 or 4-1 depending on where the games were played. Going 9-2 against the Big 10 would be awesome for a school not in a BCS conference in a rebuilding year.

Face it, the only thing "Big" about the Big-10 this year is their name and it just proves their inability to count. BYU would consistently finish in the top 3 in the Big-10 even in a rebuilding year.

I have to disagree. They would finish in the top 3 in just about every conference!

I don't know about every year. The big 10 does have an occasional "up" year with some good teams. Just like every conference. This was not that year though.

I hate the Big 10. If Big 10 fan starts popping off about their strength acknowledge that they are indeed better than the MAC (16-2 this year), but against everybody else they are not all that.

As a conference they won nearly 80 percent of their nonconference games, but they are 3-3 against teams with winning records. That's right the Big 10 has played ONLY SIX TEAMS that finished the season with winning records. They are the Hawaii of conferences.

When the best nonconference win this season came against Central Michigan you know your conference is weak. Look for the Big 10 to have at least 5 losses this coming bowl season.

Even on their "up" year they are so-so. Last year was an "up" year and MI and OSU got crushed.

OSU - Lost
MI - Lost
Perdue - Lost
Wisc - Won
Penn st - Won
MSU - none
Ill - none
Minn - Lost
Iowa - Lost
Ind - none
NW - none
2- 5 in Bowls during an "up" year.
