We have a lot of what ifs in this game. What if we would have knelt on the ball right before half. What if UCLA didn't have a kicker who could kick 50 yards plus. Remember BYU might have one kicking next year. Would UCLA have even scored? Ucla's defence allowed a MWC team to score more than their offence could score. The fact is UCLA lost BYU won.
As far as BYU hanging in the PAC 10 That appears obvious with victories over UCLA, Arizona and Oregon in the last year or so and probably over all the bottom dwellers like Stanford, Washington Califonia and Washington State. Remember they would have to come to Provo too. They would finish no less then 3rd in the PAC 10.
With BYU finishing in the top 20 two years in a row they will be ranked next year with their entire offence back. We have proven we can go undefeated in the MWC. BCS talks should start especially if Ohio State is playing in the BCS championship. Remember Ohio State did beat Youngstown State, Akron and Kent State. We have seen a lot of upsets this year. Really if BYU runs the table next year. They should get a shot at a BCS Bowl.
