Problem for Hawaii is that Georgia has a pretty decent run offense and Hawaii has a swiss cheese defense. Georgia will likely play some serious smashmouth football and control the clock. Georgia will score and will run time off the clock. The Hawaii defense will be on the field so long that they will tire quickly and Georgia will run over them.

On the other hand, Hawaii's offense will get a couple of big time scores. However, they will go 3 and out more times. I just don't see Hawaii scoring all that much in this game. Their speed at receiver will be nearly neutralized by Georgia speed in the secondary. And that's the only advantage that Hawaii has: speed. Other than that, they got nothing.

In a lot of ways, I think of Hawaii as a poor man's Florida. And look what Georgia did to Florida.

This one is tough. One one hand, it would be good for the non-BSC schools for Hawaii to win. On the other hand, I really don't like Hawaii and I think some of their fans are very, very classless. Also, I don't think a Hawaii win really helps the Playoff scenario, which is the goal.

I'm cheering against Hawai'i. I would like nothing more than to see them get trounced so that teams don't continue this trend of scheduling really weak opponents. You should be punished for the OOC schedule that the WAC teams are lining up.

It is funny you say that, because I too thought the same way; however, you will be pleased to know that the defensive player from that year's Hawaii team that took Doman out of the game is now a converted Cougar. He is in my MBA classes here at BYU.

YA BOY! i completely agree with ya. UGA is has a extremely fast defense. the only way that they will lose this game is if they come out too cocky....I expect Moreno to have a great game. GET READY FOR THE BLACKOUT!!!!!!

Brennan is a good college QB who is in a very good system that plays extremely well to his strengths. He'll play well, but not well enough. No way the Rainbow Warriors can hang with Georgia for four quarters.

I have zero love for Hawaii, I still have nightmares of visits to the islands in 90 and 91 and 01.

I think being rewarded for weak scheduling sucks. I want weak scheduling teams to be exposed. Therefore, I want to see Georgia wax Hawaii so that Mendenhall will stop this stupid plan of scheduling down because he thinks that's the only way to get into a BCS bowl game.
