I think this is going to be an ugly game. 2007 Hawaii is nowhere near as good as 2006 Boise State and 2007 Georgia is a lot better than 2006 Oklahoma. And that game was close. This game will not be.

Prediction: 38-14.

GA 52 Hawaii 21

I don't know much about Georgia's defense, but I just don't see Hawaii not scoring at least 21. I still think they lose by two. Maybe something like Cal vs. AFA. 48 -36. Just a guess really. I guess being on the BCS outside looking in a part of me wants Hawaii to stick it to Georgia, but another part of me has never really forgiven them for taking us to town in 2001.

Not sure if Hawaii is deserving of my loyalty since most Hawaii fans I have run into rank somewhere between pond scum and scum bags. I didn't say all, but most "I have met" So please no stories about how many great Hawaii fans there are out there. There may be, but I have yet to meet them.

After watching Nevada get raked over the coals by New Mexico, and Boise state lose to East Carolina, I have serious doubts about Hawaii even being in the game at all. Not trying to be negative, but rather realistic.

Also, I feel like teams the likes of Hawaii and Boise state have set the BSC bar "lower" than it ever was. Which makes BYU look to copy that formula to get in. Almost the same scenerio as what took place in 1984.

No love here for Hawaii, no hate, but no love either.
