Wow. Why does Georgia feel they need to challenge a first down (not even a TD) when they're up 35 in, basically, the fourth quarter?
This is the problem with scheduling weak teams in order to get into a BCS game. Sure, you might beat them all and get in, but you'll get embarrassed once you're there. Do you think people will remember that Hawai'i went undefeated in the regular season or just that they got embarrassed in their bowl game?
Mark Richt is the same guy that had his whole team rush the field on their 1st score vs Florida. Maybe the only one in the SEC with less class than Urban. I had to chuckle when Michigan beat Florida today.
Missouri deserved to play in the BCS
I think we'll find Kansas is a fraud too
We would have, had we beaten Tulsa
I honestly don't know if Arizona State was a BCS worthy team, but they had a solid resumee
Without their HC, I think Oklahoma will roll West Virginia by 20+
Honestly though think how nice a playoff would have been
Missouri vs USC would have been one hell of a 2nd rd game
(as some of you know Tony Temple grew up with me and my family, sleeping over, begging for spending cash, etc. etc.)
I don't expect Richt to call off the "dogs" it could get worse for Hawaii.
And while it's a bad message for the little guy, it's a good message for everyone scheduling patsies.....and the best Hawaiin players will still leave the islands.
