You may be right about their defense, but I really dont think Georgia would put up 38 points on our defense. Granted some of those points came off of turnovers and short fields, but our defense is far and away much better than Hawaii's.

I have read several comments from people saying Hawaii's pathetic performance hurts BYU's chances to make a BC$ game, my question is why?
If BYU is ranked in the top 12 and meets whatever other qualifications that are in place, then they get in, plain and simple, if you want to argue that the loss will make it harder for BYU to move up in the rankings, I suppose that arguement might have some validity.

Hawaii is really outclassed here... it is too bad.

I have long advocated that a team's OOC schedule should be weighted heavily in their Strength of Schedule. So if you want to schedule Kent State, Akron and the Blind Girls' School of St Mary's, then you take a hit in your rankings.

Too bad I have no votes in how the Bc$ rankings are calculated.

I think we need to give credit to Georgia. There is not a team in the WAC or Mountain West that could hang with Georgia tonight. They are playing as well as anyone right now. That is no disrespect to anyone just how good Georgia is playing right now.

I feel bad for Georgia. They deserved a better opponent. Many have said that Hawaii (and Illinois for that matter) had no business in the BCS and we can see why.

Wow. Why does Georgia feel they need to challenge a first down (not even a TD) when they're up 35 in, basically, the fourth quarter?

This is the problem with scheduling weak teams in order to get into a BCS game. Sure, you might beat them all and get in, but you'll get embarrassed once you're there. Do you think people will remember that Hawai'i went undefeated in the regular season or just that they got embarrassed in their bowl game?

Colt Brennan just cost himself a couple million.

WAC scheduling just took a huge dump on the BCS.

I hope Bronco thinks twice about scheduling too many patsies in the future.

And Hawaii just laid the egg we all expected them to. I hope those people that were planning to bet the house, did. I might have bet the house but my wife would have left me for gambling so I'd have ended up even

Think we'll be hearing from the Hawaiin poopline anytime soon? You simply cannot play the schedule Hawaii plays and then expect them to come to the mainland and compete with real football teams. Imagine what we would have done to Nevada next year.....

Absolutely they will remember......that they played a crappy schedule and got exposed.
