Slapping down an overrated Big 10 team means about as much to me as Georgia fans screaming they are the best team in the country because they spanked Hawaii. Both teams played match-ups vs teams that had no buisness playing in a BCS game period. Is USC a NC team? Maybe but they lost to Stanford for heaven sake and i know they had injuries but are you telling me USC's isn't deep enough to beat a team that is easily one of the worst BCS teams in the country as of late? Maybe they don't have the depth to beat a LSU or even a Georgia if that is the case.

Regardless a playoff system is needed period.
