My dear wife of 13 years just demonstrated her undying love to me with a Birthday present which (when taking her unfortunate Ute upbringing into consideration) lets me know how far she has come and how much she cares. I think I can copy and paste it in this message but I have been so inspired by ABYUFAN's avatar that I couldn't wait to make it mine. This is where I need some help. I reduced the size down to 234k but I still cannot get it to upload. CB tells me "session expired". Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

EDIT: It did not work because it exceeded the 120kb resolution now. How can I reduce its' size to post OR use as my Avatar? Any help would...help!

Try saving it in a different format - JPG, for example

Resize your picture at this site or other resizing sites. Then save a copy to your PC. You can then see if the file size is small enough and try to upload here again.

I thought about changing my avatar and I kept getting the same message. I went the the site you suggested and formatted the pict to 250 and it still wont allow me to update. It tells me session expired. I'm no computor guy so I guess I'm stuck till I get more assistance.

I took a picture of my pickup (AKA "RAM A UTE&quot and in paint, cut out the license plate. Then, still in paint, I opened a new window and made the plate as big as the window, making it a very large in size - low resolution pic. Then I saved that and when being shrunk back to avatar size, it looks fine. I'm sure there are more tech savvy ways to do that, I ain't that tech savvy.


BTW congrats on 13 years. I'm also in a "mixed mariage" (she's a Fresno Stater) of 13 years!
