IIRC the founder of this group is a disbarred lawyer. They do these protests to make money and only for the money. They petition for the permit to assemble and if they are denied they sue on freedom of speech and freedom of assembly principles. If they are granted a permit then they show up and try to get someone/anyone to physically touch (assault) one of them and they sue the city, state, county, property owners, asalant, and anyone else they can to get money. It is ONLY about money for these guys and they are as low as it gets. They will feel the heat one day and they will not be able to sue to get out!

Unfortunately most people that get physical with these idiots always forget about the guy with the camera.

Rule #1: Make sure someone is distracting the local constabulary.

Rule #2: Take out the guy with the camera first. Blindsided is the preferable method.

Rule #3: Have your own camera and use it judiciously.

So let me get this straight, these losers are going to protest a man who preached over and over, that his fellow church members be tollerant of others, and to be kind to those who are not of our faith? That makes a whole lot of sense.

I served my mission in Mississippi, and my wife is from Texas, so we have a lot of experience with baptists, just like all people, some are good people and some are pond scum, I.E. these people planning to protest. My wife was one of very few LDS kids in her school, and she was told almost on a daily basis, by some of these so called christians, that she was going to hell.
I suspect there will be a lot of police at the funeral to protect these losers from getting a beat down.
I think I'll play it safe and watch it on TV.

With luck, the same thing will happen there that happens at conference the past few years-a group of institute kids shows up, sets up shop right next to the protesters, and sings their lungs out. Highly effective.

i rather enjoy the people at general conference who protest the protest. One of the funniest things i ever have seen was a guy dressed up in a cow costume singing "what would you do for a klondike bar" in the face of a preacher on the corner. I had to sit down to laugh.
