Dangit! I am an engineer.
Have you always known this, or did you just now discover it?
It's been an on going process for the last few years.

So, are you in an engineering program?

Currently my major is pre-engineering with an emphasis in civil. I work for an engineering firm and have about 5 years of survey experience. So you could say that my thought process leans towards that end of it.

I still have Airwolf's hot dog money on him wearing blue in 2008 - BYU blue.
Call me an optimist, but don't call me late for dinner...
Here's what I base my suspicions on - which is purely me stringing together what could be considered just random acts and statements:
1) Kaveinga is still committed to BYU verbally, which is non-binding, yet neverless is a commitment. He has never officially said "I am no longer committed to BYU".
2) TBS' article sure paints a pretty picture - and Kav's fam is pushing hard for BYU. That is huge. Don't underestimate it or deny it. If TBS had a strong feeling he was headed to USC and still posted that story they would piss off 3/4 of their loyal BYU fans. That article sure planted alot of sunshine.
3) I believe Kav's father would not let him go on tv to break a commitment to Bronco and BYU - there is too much respect there.
4) When Bronco said "your guess is a good as mine as to where he'll commit" with reference to the situation - he said it with a smile.
I think he is coming...I said it a while ago. I have a 50/50 shot at being wrong, but I really think that it is going to happen.
Whether he comes or not - this is a great class of kids.

Nice post, Shake. You give some good reasons why we should believe Kav will keep his commitment. I have a few other reasons as well but must keep them confidential. Nothing certain, just more reasons from someone who has very recently spoken to him. Let's all hope and, uh, cross our fingers until he declares in the next couple of hours.
