The question is, who reinstated his endorsement? Was it the bishop in question, was it a home ward bishop, was it some one higher up the totem pole?

Maybe they utilized the "appeal" process.

I read it on my blackberry in the DesNews article and I was so excited about him coming back to play for BYU.

Thank goodness! It appears that it was just the attendance thing then, and there must have been some confusion. I hope he moves to a different ward for the rest of his BYU career.
