Just a note about Craig Bills. I am good friend with his secondary coach at Timpview. My friend said he is the best player he has ever coached. He also says he is maybe the best player to every come out of Timpview. I've seen tape on him and he is freakin' awesome. He hits hard and is very, very smart. Add freakin sweet athletic ability and we have an Aaron Francisco, part II.(Maybe even the best Saftey to play at BYU). I am excited for this kid.

I agree that he has huge potential also. The kid can flat out play. I think that in some games he held back a little bit too. Some plays it looked like he was almost bored out there because it was too easy for him. Unfortunately he paid the price for that once or twice letting a guy get open, nothing big, but it probably wouldn't have happened if he wasn't a little bit bored. I think that once he starts playing D-1 and sees that everyone is good that we'll see him realize his full potential.

I had the opportunity to coach him a little in baseball too. The kid is/was a great pitcher. He is just a competitor, that's all I can say. He didn't ever seem to get nervous or scared, even as a freshman playing varsity. I think he will impress the cougar faithful some day.

i saw most of the timpview games last season. at the start of the season, he was really trying to bring the noise on every hit, and when he connected you could hear it in the bleachers. the problem was that he was batting about .500, meaning he missed on about half the hits. midway though the season, he backed off a bit, and the hitting percentage went up. the kid is fun to watch, and worth the cost of non-student ticket. i wonder if he will end up a linebacker before he is done at byu though.
