What was with Wrubell's comment about the BCS? I don't understand how the BCS has muted BYU's recent success in football and basketball.
There is no question that BYU has accomplished great things in football and basketball over the last 3 years, and the credit that they have received has been most appropriate. However, it's not like they should be deserving MORE credit, but that dastardly BCS is suppressing BYU from enhanced national respect.
Bottom line, if BYU football wants more national respect they need to be able to beat average Pac-10 teams on the road and beat ranked teams in nonconference play. If BYU wants more respect in basketball then they need to start winning in the NCAA tournament.
These are factors that are within BYU's control not under the control of the BCS.
