Ok, so I know this isn't a political forum, but I wanted to pick the brains of some of you conservatives out there because I'm not one, and I'm curious to see how the Republican race is going to turn out for all of you now that Romney has just dropped out, so I have a couple of questions . . .

Just out of curiosity, would you be willing to support Huckabee if he some how magically overtook McCain, despite some of the blatantly anti-mormon type attacks he used against Romney?


How do you feel about McCain? (I know a lot of conservatives don't like him, though, he seems plenty conservative to me).

Would you support a McCain Huckabee ticket?


What about McCain Lieberman (I actually think this is a very likely combination)?



I'm mostly just curious. I've been, and will continue to be an Obama supporter. I know some of you seem to get mad when politics gets brought up, but hey, it's important, and I know there are a lot of smart good conservative brains to pick on this board that will have good well thought out answers to my questionst

I'm a reformed democrat, but thats another story. I think it's a terrible tragedy for the country that the only people left running are completely crazy.

I will never support any ticket that includes Huckabee. It could be Bronco and Huckabee and I wouldn't vote for it.

I would support McCain and Lieberman, I have a lot of respect for Lieberman, as a man who is willing to be thrown out of a corrupt party because he still has values and ethics.

I'm intrigued by Obama. He's certainly a better choice than Hillary. But he's completely unproven in every sense of the word, has very little experience in politics, business, international affairs, anything. And I have a hard time supporting anyone who calls for an immediate withdrawal of the troops now that we're actually doing some good.

This will be a very interesting election.

OK, with no animosity towards you or anyone else whatsoever, I think McCain is a stout liberal (RINO) and it would be better to have Obama or Clinton in office if only to cleanse the GOP after 4 years of Democrat leadership.

So, no I would not support a McAmnesty/Huckabee ticket no matter what at this point. They are the greater of the 2 evils in this election and I would rather vote for Billary. Lieberman is a class act IMO. I'd like to see him as president.

Which makes me curious, why Obama over Cackle? All I ever hear him say is "change" this "change" that. (Granted I haven't followed the Dem side as closely, although I did watch a couple of the earlier, larger debates)

I think alot of true conservatives will be voting third party this year, I happen to be on of them. I hate throwing my vote away, but I figure it is the best way to tell the national parties I didn't care for either canidate. If McCain get the repub. nom., which is a small if, the Dems will win this year for sure.
