Amen Brother! Karma in a BIG way for making that fond memory a visual experience for all to partake! I keep telling myself as the years go by that I'm making that dunk cooler in my mind than it actually was, and then I see the replay somewhere, and realize, NOPE, it was as FREAKING AWESOME as the day I saw it live!

On another note:
You know, after stewing on it over a night's sleep, I feel like I've unjustly defamed Welch a little bit. My wife's Uncle is a Professor at the Academy and knows Nick Welch very well, and he attests that Welch is a really good and decent kid, and was surprised when we told him what we saw. Since I have a personal endorsement of the guy's character from a person I respect greatly, I would be remiss if I didn't include that it sounds like the gesture he made at the fans was out of character for him, made in the heat of the moment, and if he had it to do over, he probably would have thought better of it. There, I feel better now.

Kinda sounds like a certain BYU tight end at a game in Hawaii. Good on ya for giving both sides.

in high school my team wasn't the best, American Fork of course, but the student section rocked and constantly got ejected and technical fouls. THere was a cheer leader who was showing off he flipping skills and we were chanting "tubby tumbler clap clap clap clap clap"everytime she did something, unfortunately she cried the whole night after and we had to all get on a bus over an apologize. WE also through things, bouncy balls, pennies, live doves, when we scored the first basket against our rivals. We did have some pretty sweet cheers lime h-o-m-o- homo at the free throw, and we'd taunt other teams fans cause our team was loosing most of the time.
