Ahhh nice game. My immediate thoughts on the game: Jimmer is awesome as is JT. Lee played solid and good contributions from Miles and Burgess. JT and Jimmer kept us in this game. MVP is definitely JT with 20 pts and 3 steals.
Bit disappointed in TP, but if I am not mistaken he's never had a great game against Beaker.
TP just didn't have it tonight. His shots were ugly and he missed at least 6 within 3 feet of the rim. That is not good. NBA players make at least 5 of 6 like that.
Really? NBA players make 'at least 5 of 6 like that' every single game? That's news to me. Especially when he's being hacked on half the shots...
Look - I'm not saying Trent is a sure-fire NBA success. But give him a break...he goes 9/9 at a road game at CSU, and is shooting 56% for the year. Picking out his poor games as evidence of his ability is pretty dishonest...
He certainly seems to struggle against Utah, but I think a lot of that has to do with trying too hard instead of letting the game come to him. He took about 4 straight bad shots at the start of the second half before finally drawing the foul against Neville. I think that's a pretty good strategy myself.
