I'm just hoping that, provided this pans out to fruition, that Dish Network will follow suit before mid-July. I have done DirecTV before, and I have to say that the Dish DVR is light years ahead of the DirecTV offering, and I would hate to part ways with my Dish Internet, which has simply been BLAZING. Here's hoping the deal is non-exclusive and that Dish jumps on the bandwagon.

Hayne Ellis, manager of public relations for the Centennial-based studio, confirmed an agreement has been reached and an official announcement would come when the signatures are in place.

Sources at The Mtn. have confirmed there is an agreement in place with DirectTV in principle, but the deal has not been signed at this time.

There is no time frame on when the signatures will be on the agreement, according to the source. But it looks promising something will be officially released soon.

"I wish I had something to say officially, but it still hasn't been signed," Ellis said. "The outlook is very positive, but we've been here before so we want to be careful.
