Must be a bunch of techno-neophytes here. That isn't a BUG. That is a FEATURE. Don't expect it to be fixed. The programmer that created that FEATURE was rewarded with a nice cushy job creating "FEATURES" for Microsoft Vista. Rumor has it that he has been very successful...

Ah shucks. My two degrees in engineering were all for nought, then.

That isn't a BUG. That is a FEATURE.

I know your joking, but I'll offer a rebuttal anyway When the program doesn't function as intended due to programming error, it is called a bug. The way to fix it is simple if you have the source code or the base file. One uses the following format:

if
int((n+1)/8) == (n+1)/8

then
p = (n+1)/8;

else
p = 1 + int((n+1)/8);

where n is the number of responses and p is the number of pages. The programmer must have accidentally omitted the "+1" in the numerator.

The programmer that created that FEATURE was rewarded with a nice cushy job creating "FEATURES" for Microsoft Vista. Rumor has it that he has been very successful...

LOL!!! Agreed. Microsoft Windows has been referred to by many a Linux-junkie as the largest virus ever made. Sadly, its still easier to use than Linux.

I've published a new version of the forums and it seems to address the majority of errors being seen. Hopefully this resolves issues with a minimal amount of introduction of new issues.

I think there may be some problems with the update...

I have spent the last several minutes trying to login from every site on cougarblue.com. It would popup "You are not authorized to view this resource" and I would remain not logged in.

Finally I changed the site to http://cougarblue.com and tried to login and it let me. But the 'www' before the cougarblue.com was somehow keeping me from logging in.

Also, please restore the breadcrumbs to the bottom of the page. If you read through a thread and get to the end, there is no link back to the forum you're in and you have to scroll back up to the top to get it, or hit back through how ever many pages of responses you've read.

Thanks.
