Dick Harmon also responded. He said the MWC told him it was to "rectify" overexposure of BYU during football season. After the game tonight, I'll have to look to see how true that is.

It would appear that socialism defeats capitalism at the MWC offices.

According to what they told Dick Harmon, the MWC's decision to show less BYU BB games was to make up for imbalance in televized games during FB season. The MWC officials are LYING!

Of the 54 games the MWC-affiliated networks had the rights to (9 teams X 6 home games), 6 were not televized. The following are the number of games each team had that went untelevized:

SDSU: 3
CSU: 2
AFA: 1
UNM: 1
TCU: 1
UNLV: 1
Utah: 1
BYU: 0
Wyo: 0

So, following the MWC's logic, one might expect BYU and Wyoming to have a few less games televised, SDSU and CSU a few more, and the 1-game teams would be about in the middle, right?

Here are my questions for the MWC:
If SDSU was the most-slighted FB team (3 missed games), why did UNLV (1) have 3 more televized BB games?

If CSU was the second-most slighted FB team (2), why were they also the 2nd-most slighted BB team in overall games broadcast (16)?

If Wyoming was not slighted at all in FB (0), why were they also not slighted in BB in conference play (0)?

Why was AFA penalized (5 missed games in BB ) for having all but one FB game televized, but TCU (3), Utah (2), UNM (1), and UNLV (1) were not?

I think the Wyoming (EVERY GAME BROADCAST) gets me the most fired up. Their fans didn't miss one game in either sport, despite the fact that they finished 7th in FB and 8th in BB.

The MWC needs to broadcast EVERY GAME, PERIOD.

There is no sense to any of it. Absolutely none. Broadcasting should be logical. You put the best product you have out to the most people. You have more viewers, more advertisers jumping on board, etc.
The MWC/Comcast/the mtn. people are idiots. You have AF and BYU, with literally fans across the globe, and you choose to keep them on a shelf while you push the Rusteze bumper ointment product called UW. Stupid.

Is there any correlation between the lack of broadcasts and the existence of BYUTV/KBYU and the Armed Forces Network?
