I actually think Air Force will play much better this upcoming season. I think they will do with their new coach what SDSU wanted with theirs last year but fell much shorter than hoped. I think Air Force gets 2 more wins this year than last. I'm predicting a 6 win season.

They're way behind BYU, Utah, and TCU (who beat them 37-0 last season), all of who should be stronger next season. Meanwhile, the Lobos lose their 1000+ yard RB and top 2 WRs, among a slew of defensivemen. They should be right there with Air Force (who also loses a lot, including QB Carney and RB Hall) and Wyoming (who may be improved), but likely still ahead of CSU (new head coach makes it hard to say, though the returning talent is there), SDSU (who should be a little better, minus the QB loss), and UNLV (who should be improved with returning offensive talent).

In fact, with games against Texas A&M, Arizona, and on the road at Tulsa, New Mexico may have a tough time getting 6 wins next season...

Actually Mars NM returns their RB from last season, though they do lose their two top WR. but you are right they are not better then Utah or TCU.

RT is correct, the Lobos return Ferguson, which I had completely forgotten. That should make a huge difference for them at running back (solid 4th-place team?), despite losing 2 1st-Team All-MWC O-linemen to block for him. So King crying a river did some good after-all. Congrats whiner!
