I'm not saying that they should've done a package deal but it would've been a lot more easier to recruit Xavier had BYU offered Moe a full ride. They were talking to him during the season and even gave him tickets to all their home games and he really thought he was a shoe in but when they didn't offer he was heartbroken. Utah did the same.
He wouldn't be the 1st kid to go to Dixie and come to BYU later and star. Let's hope he's mature enough to understand that he wouldn't be the 1st to do so and if BYU is his dream school, they'll be there if he's good enough to play at the D1 level.
isn't dixie a 4-year school now? i think we are down to snow as a jc pipeline.
by the way, i thought moe was real good, but from what i heard his size was the deal killer, and 5-11 is generous. he is tuff, and big hitter, but an inside backer has to take on o-linemen. imho mike alisa was the timpwview lb'er we couldn't miss out on, and we didn't. we was better then, not only katoa, but every other lb'er i was last year.
