Since we're on the topic of free sports right now, has anyone tried March madness on demand from NCAA.com?? I just signed up hoping I might catch a few live games "between" classes and such. We get peasant vision with the bunny ears and I'm looking for a way to catch a glimpse of the tourney. Any suggestions?

I highly recommend it. If you can still sign up, sign up for the VIP service. It puts you in the front of the line and its free! This will be my third or fourth year. I get to pick whatever games I want to watch. It's awesome! Go to the CBS sports web site and it should have directions.

This might sound stupid to some of you, but if all you have to do is go to a local sports bar and they will have just about every game going on right now, as well as the NCAA tourny.

Move in to Chammps?

The ESPN online deal is awesome for the tourney, you can watch two or three games at a time. I was in NY during the BYU game, so I had to watch most of the game online when they switched from the game on TV.

It's also important to note that although DirecTV is getting the MTN, they haven't yet announced which channel package it will be on. However, there have been rumors that it will be on the basic (total choice) package in the MTN west footprint.

I see that Versus is not on the basic package. When does the TV schedule get released for the fall? Also, what is the deal with CSTV? I heard that CBS bought them...what are the implications of that?

Versus is in the Sports Pack ($12/mo) and I talked them down to $2/mo.

Any suggestions on how to talk them down to that? Did you just mention that you only wanted CSTV and it wasn't worth $12? Thanks.

Yes, and it's very user-friendly. This is my 3rd year, and it's great. You really don't have to wait all that long to watch a game with a VIP pass. One of the best inventions.

Speaking of which, I usually "watch" CSTV online at channelsurfing.net but right now I can't get the feed to work...does anyone know other websites where I can watch the BYU-SDSU game for free?

I tried it too, but it doesn't work. The TVU player took off CSTV and have a bunch of useless international channels, and free tube took it off.

I too want to know, does anyone know where you can watch CSTV for free? I never, ever get to watch any games and my wife is willing to watch it with me, so I want to jump on this.
