I am not saying UNLV doesn't have an advantage. I have never said that. All I am saying is that shouldn't be our excuse and that's not why we lost the game. We can't control where the game is played. All you can control is how well you play and we didn't play well last night. That's why we lost.

A home court advantage doesn't suddenly give UNLV's center another 5 inches. At 6'11" Trent should have dominated. He should have had twice as many points and rebounds.[/quote]

Good point. Trent needs to be able to get to the low block and stay without being pushed out so easily. He has so much work to do on his game and it showed this tournament.

I agree that Trent didn't play well, but the guy had 6 rebounds in about as many minutes until he had to sit with two crappy fouls.

It was like the game at SDSU all over again. The refs weren't THE reason we lost (here's an ideaON'T LEAVE WINK ADAMS WIDE OPEN FOR 14 POINTS IN A ROW!!!), but they hurt us more than they should have.

That's the one silver lining to a horrible collapse--this game, more than anything else, should convince Plaisted that he's not ready for the NBA.
