Herald's Dickson says after the game at UNLV, "They won't face a tougher environment in the NCAA tournament than the one they took on Saturday."

I think that UCLA in Anaheim could prove that statement wrong.

Argh!!! You had to bring up memories of McNamara. He was shooting lights out that game. What drove me crazy was that after they barely beat us he shot a horrible percentage during his next game in the second round and they lost. Ah well, life goes on...
Sorry, rockstar, Syracuse took out Maryland in the second round. The game you're probably thinking of is the Sweet 16 game against a 'Bama team that surprised EVERYBODY by beating 1 seed Stanford in the 2nd round, and Syracuse got overconfident when they saw an "8" to the left of their opponent's name. I was annoyed because I thought if we could take it to Syracuse, and 'Cuse pulled it out against a 4 seed, we could've had a shot at the Sweet 16 that year! I mean, we beat one of the Final Four teams on a neutral court!!!

I was there when BYU beat OSU and that was about as unneutral as they come. But it was a great game.
Yeah, I was too. And you're right, it was(both un-neutral, and a great game). In my defense, the CROWD may not have been neutral, but at least the actual COURT was...
I stopped short of joining the "TRAI-TOR" chant at Bobik, but not many others did.
Oh well, still a win, right?

You got that right. I just remember Samuelson blasting the student body at the next devotional. ouch.

I watched the A&M vs. Texas game. A&M has a big body or two down low, but that's not my main worry. It's their PG. He's quick and handles the ball really well, or at least he did in the game I watched. I worry that Murdock/Burgess will be able to stay in front of him.

From what I saw, A&M doesn't take many outside shots. They like to take it to the rim and quite frankly we suck at defending when teams take it inside on us. Trent and Cummard get in foul trouble, our guards can't stay in front of quicker guards and it frustrates our players like crazy.

This is going to be a tough, tough game.
